Itsinu Labs
Where real problems meet future leaders.
What is Itsinu Labs?
Itsinu Labs is our social value programme — built into every corporate Itsinu programme as standard.
It brings together a cohort of young people, nominated by local schools, to tackle a real business brief set by you.
They collaborate. They problem solve. They present back.
And in doing so, they discover something about themselves they didn't know was there.
How it works
When your organisation invests in an Itsinu corporate programme, Itsinu Labs is included as standard.
Here's what happens:
-
You set a real brief — a genuine business challenge, question, or idea you want explored
-
Itsinu contacts schools local to your organisation and invites them to nominate their most promising young people
-
A diverse cohort of 15–25 Pioneers comes together from different schools and different backgrounds
-
They collaborate, build, and develop their response to your brief
-
They present back to you directly
What comes back might surprise you.
For your organisation, that means:
-
Unfiltered insight from the people who will become your future customers, employees, and leaders
-
Fresh thinking on a real business challenge — unconstrained by industry norms or internal politics
-
A measurable social value outcome you can report against ESG commitments and procurement requirements
-
A genuine community impact story that goes far beyond a corporate responsibility footnote

For the young people, that means something that lasts a lifetime:
The young people who take part in Itsinu Labs don't just attend a programme.
They become Itsinu Pioneers.
Selected and nominated by their schools, Pioneers are brought together from different backgrounds, different experiences, and different walks of life — united by one thing: the potential to lead.
The Itsinu Pioneers Programme doesn't just give young people a day out of school.
It gives them their first real experience of the working world — and the confidence to belong in it.
They leave having developed:
-
Communication — how to articulate an idea clearly and persuasively
-
Collaboration — how to work with people they've never met before
-
Creativity — how to approach a problem without a textbook answer
-
Confidence — the belief that their voice matters and their ideas are worth hearing
-
Resilience — how to respond when things don't go to plan and keep going anyway
These aren't soft skills. They're the skills that determine whether a young person finds their place in the world — or spends years looking for it.
Itsinu Labs exists to shorten that search.
